PCS Fax™ Service
HFN is
excited to introduce a new resource available to HFN Participating
Providers. The majority of our
Participating Providers submit claims electronically. However, we still receive a fair amount of
paper claims. Here is where the new
resource, PCS Fax™ comes in to help Participating Providers reduce their
account receivables. PCS Fax™ accepts
claims faxed by providers for any payer in the country, including coordination
of benefits and secondary claims. All
you need is a fax machine. There is no
need for a computer, custom software or complex technology to learn. As a bonus, HFN Participating Providers will
receive one year FREE claims
submission when submitting to HFN Payors*.
PCS Fax™
Features
Each claim you fax is converted to an electronic
claim and routed electronically to the corresponding Payor or via paper if
there is not an EDI connection;
Each claim is assigned a tracking number for easy
tracking;
Once a day, PCS will fax you an easy-to-read report
that gives you unique claim IDs and any rejections that Payors returned; and
There are no contracts or minimums to use this
service.
