Provider Feature:  HOMELINK

              

is the nation’s largest network of community-based providers of ancillary healthcare.  Founded in 1993, HOMELINK was created to ease the job of case managers.  Case managers can make one phone call, deal with one entity and receive one consolidated bill for requested services.

 

HOMELINK has been providing ancillary services to Workers’ Compensation Cases, TPA’s, Self-

Insured Employers, Case Management Companies and Group Health Plans for over 12 years and has now partnered with HFN as a participating ancillary provider in the HFN Network, effective February 1, 2006.  HOMELINK provides Home Medical Equipment, Home Health Nursing and Infusion, Orthotics and Prosthetics, Pharmacy, Hearing Devices, Transportation for Workers’ Compensation only, along with medical supplies and specialty products.  They have over 6,000 independent, community-based providers nationwide.

 

HOMELINK places quality and service above all else.  HOMELINK's Quality Assurance Plan complies with all JCAHO guidelines, requiring strict criteria be met by their providers.  Patient satisfaction is closely monitored, providing opportunities for improved service.

 

Comprehensive managed-care provider partnership ensures cost containment and increases return on investment.  As a preferred provider, HOMELINK offers:

 

·         No access fee to utilize HOMELINK Network

·         Simple referral and billing processes

·         Banking and recycling

·         Equipment monitoring programs

Of course, members are responsible for any applicable co-insurance, co-payments, and/or deductibles according to their benefit plan.
